One of the best ways to have and maintain healthy hair is by doing low manipulation hairstyles. Adding styles in your routine that do not cause excessive tension and stress to your strands is highly important. Less tight braids buns and weave can help keep your hair healthy and your edges strong.

The less usage of heat when styling your hair can help you to maintain a healthy hair and scalp. Excessive use of heat can cause breakage with your strands as well as cause heat damage, which can set back your healthy hair journey.



4. Have Realistic Expectations.

One important thing to remember is that everyone grows there hair at a different rate and speed and no two people have the exact same hair structure. We tend to lose anywhere from 50 to 100 strands of hair a day and on average grow one to two inches of hair a month depending on what healthy habits you have incorporated in your routine. With that being said you have to be honest with yourself in terms of how your hair growth journey is going, as well as understand that your hair growth journey is unique to you. We are always looking for instant results and we have to understand that healthy hair takes time to achieve.
